| This is a close-up of a colored pencil drawing I completed in 2004 - the actual drawing is only about 9" tall. My pumpkin man was inspired by a photo of a collection of vintage halloween figurines. I used Prismacolor colored pencils and a lot of slow building up of layers. The pumpkin itself took about 3 1/2 hours to completed, although I WAS watching "Nightmare Before Christmas" at the time and could have been a little distracted.... |
